RashbiWings Flight Terms and Conditions

 

Airplane flights:

• RashbiWings utilizes private flight companies to operate a plane route to Rosh Pina.

• Passengers should report to the Sde Dov airport at least 40 minutes before the flight.

• They should have with them an identity card or a passport.

• A passenger weighing more than 100 kg must report his weight in his reservation to ensure the aircraft weight is balanced.

• A baby up to two years old can sit on his parents' lap.

• A pregnant woman can fly as long as she is not restricted by her doctor.

• Passengers can take luggage weighing up to 10 kg in the baggage hold + 3 kg of hand luggage. Any amount beyond that must be coordinated and approved.

 

Helicopter flights

• Passengers should arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to departure.

• Due to the pressure on Lag Ba'Omer, it is not possible to wait for late arrivals at both the starting and return points specified in the reservation.

• Passengers should have with them an identity card or a passport.

• A man weighing over 90 kilos or a woman over 65 kilos must report their weight in advance.

• A baby up to two years old can sit on his parents' lap.

• A child over the age of two years is required to have his own seat (at a regular fee).

• A pregnant woman can fly as long as she is not restricted by her doctor.

 

Shuttle to Rashbi’s Kever:

• There is a roundtrip shuttle service at scheduled times from the helipad.

• There may be a standby time of up to 10 minutes. The driving time to the Kever is about 10 minutes.

• The shuttles have permits from the police to reach the Kever of Rabbi Yochanan haSandler.

• It is the passenger’s responsibility to arrive on time for the ride back to the helipad.

• RashbiWings is not responsible for traveling delays caused by roadblocks, traffic or the temporary closing of intersections by the police.

 

Terms of Payment

• Prices are in dollars, calculated according to a dollar exchange rate of NIS 3.5.
* credit card payments will be charged with an additional 2.5% on a foreign card and 1.5% for an israelicard-clearing free.

• Hours of waiting will be charged at $175 per hour, calculated from the time of landing and the descent of passengers until their return to the helicopter

 

Cancellations:

• Flight cancellation by the customer after the reservation was made entails a cancellation fee of 10% of the total reservation cost.

• Flight cancellation by the customer up to 72 hours before the flight entails a cancellation fee of 25% of the reservation cost.

• Flight cancellation by the customer up to 48 hours before the flight entails a cancellation fee of 50% of the reservation cost.

• Flight cancellation by the customer up to 24 hours before the flight entails a cancellation fee of 75% of the reservation cost.

• Flight cancellation by the customer in less than 24 hours before the flight or non-arrival to the flight will be charged 100%.

 

There will be no compensation for flight cancellation or delays in flight times by airline companies under the following conditions:

• Weather conditions which do not allow flying safely.

• Closure of air routes by the Air Force, Aviation Intelligence or police.

• War or military operation.

• Temporary closures or delays at airports by the control tower.

 

Warranty:

• In the event of a technical malfunction in a helicopter / aircraft, the Company will endeavor to fix it as soon as possible. If it is not possible, the company will try to get another helicopter.

If no helicopter can be obtained, the company will return the flight fare to the passenger.

• The passenger is completely responsible for his personal baggage.

• RashbiWings is only the intermediary between the passengers, and the airlines and the transportation companies going to the Kever. We chose the airlines and the transportation companies and checked that they have operation licenses and valid travel insurance. The vehicles traveling to the Kever received special passes to travel to Rashbi’s Kever from the police for the Lag B'Omer event.

• RashbiWings is not responsible for any complaint or claim related to the functioning of the companies operating the helicopters, planes and vehicles or for any of the conditions and factors in which airlines and transportation companies are not required to compensate for damages, such as: weather, flight safety, war, air route closures, control tower restrictions, strikes, police, etc.

 

Dispute Resolution:

If there is any complaint or application or dispute or claim of any kind against RashbiWings itself, it will be decided by the Beis Din Nesivos Chaim at 1 Panim Meirot Street, Jerusalem, and only at this Beis Din. The passenger's consent to these Terms and Conditions empowers the aforesaid court as arbitrators in accordance with the Arbitration Law.
